LovingEco: Where style and sustainability collide

The tip: LovingEco.com, which unveiled last week, is the latest addition to eco-friendly online retailers. The site offers its members fashion and beauty products up to 70 percent off retail prices during private sales, along the line of predecessors Gilt Groupe and HauteLook.

LovingEco has a diverse portfolio of brands and items
What it offers: LovingEco aims for a diverse merchandise lineup, from apparel, swimwear, lingerie to jewelry, perfume and even the essential water bottle. Some of its hottests finds right now include designs by Stewart + Brown (LA-based organic pioneer) and limited-edition "Style for Change" tanks where 100% of net proceeds go back to charity.

Environmentally conscious: Shopping at LovingEco is meant to be not only an aesthetically and economically satisfying experience but also an educational one. The site has special "product keys" that tell you whether a product is organic, recycled, biodegradable, cruelty-free, fair trade or locally produced, etc. The "tastemaker picks" is a weekly editorial section with recommendations from style-savvy contemporaries and conscious leaders.

Shop for a cause: Like Tom's shoes, LovingEco is committed to promoting social responsibility. Three percent of its profit is donated to a different charity each week. Currently featured organizations include Stand Up to Cancer, Global Green USA, Farm Sanctuary, EMA, Wholesome Wave and Village Empowerment.

Style for Change: Check out this super cute video for the campaign and purchase a sexy organic tank.  Become a member today!
