From the poem Landscape with the Fall of Icarus by William Carlos Williams, I picked the word "spring." To me, spring is something very specious, bright and lively, budding out of the cold and harshness of winter. It's synonymous with flowers, femininity and sinuous movement.
This is why I chose to spell out the word by arranging jewelry on a black canvas. The floral pendants and soft curves of the letters represent the meaning of spring.
