Midterm: Abstract type
From the poem Landscape with the Fall of Icarus by William Carlos Williams, I picked the word "spring." To me, spring is something very specious, bright and lively, budding out of the cold and harshness of winter. It's synonymous with flowers, femininity and sinuous movement.

Digital design: Playing with shapes
As part of my Digital Design and Usability class, I will be keeping a blog documenting weekly assignments. The first one focuses on playing around with shapes. I extracted 5 shapes from this beautiful creek landscape (taken by my boyfriend in Colorado I believe) and arranged them in 6 compositions that depict different emotions.
Anger
Busyness
Growth
Intimacy
Loneliness
Serenity
